Will the learning curve by Thomas songs and can be used in other parts of the train set?

Would you like to buy Melissa and Doug train, but it is a miracle if I could connect a number of "formal" learning is a Thomas song. In particular, the Roundhouse, Toby's Windmill, and some talk stations. Thank you!

I'm not entirely certain but I think that you should be OK. I was watching Melissa and Doug wooden train earlier today and it said the track the songs are "compatible with the popular wooden railway systems." This seems to suggest that Thomas would be great with the track pieces, etc.
