Paint techniques to wood seems to metal?

Is the paint technology in order to display a tree brushed metal? Such as the brushed steel or a nickel look. I have a wooden knobs and pulls that I want to paint the brushed metal look. I can not afford to buy real brushed metal knobs and pulls so need to find a way to make wood look like that. I already metal fan blades, which is painted bright yellow, I want them to have the same brushed metal seems to influence whether the technology to do this show or product that I can use, so it all work? It might be called a brushed chrome. I also want to finsih this is not dull glossy or shiny. Thank you. Note: Yes I asked this before, but there is only one answer, and not really what I was looking for, so hope to get by asking again some other ideas. Thank you in advance.

(Cheap too) what I would do is put a couple layers of paint, knobs, allow to dry and very lightly sand off some paint and give it a brushed or age of the show.

Can you put a newborn baby and the baby's cradle?

We basinet bedroom is next to our bed already. I'm curious Is it ok to put the newborn (8 days) for your baby's cradle. Not to buy yet. When my wife very gently rocks her, she falls asleep, and if my wife or the occasional busy and the other is not separate from the bed and the bassinet in the bedroom theres really anything to leave the baby.

when I was PG with my youngest's father built the cradle was amazin, and he slept on it than the first 6 months, and now that HES nearly 3 she still wants him to take the action plans on the floor, it sometimes hes great to be so, but he loves the cradle can be a blessing

I have installed a wall shelf, but it hangs down a bit .. help?

I have installed a wall shelf, but it hangs down to the a bit .. It is an IKEA LACK shelf and I plasterwalls. I used the connectors and I got the screws into the studs behind the wall, but the shelf sorta hangs down a bit, when I check back on the shelf, the metal part that fits on the shelf still adhere to the wall, it is only the poles that keep up on the shelf is bending down a bit. Is this bad?
